Proteus nearing completion of Boddington Gold (Newmont) EPCM's


Proteus has undertaken around $120m of plant infrastructure works on an EPCM basis for the $2.5b Boddington Gold Mine Project, located near Boddington, WA. Works include the Water Management System (circa $40m) and Residue Disposal Area (circa $80m).

The water Management System involves 7 pump stations and a total of 40 kilometres of pipelines to deliver, 3000 cubic metres of water per hour to the gold processing plant from a catchment of 20 km x 15 km in area.

The Residue Disposal facilities involve major pumping facilities including a booster station to convey residue slurry from the plant to residue dams.
